1. Terms of Use of Connect Property
1.1 By accessing or using the Connect Property website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms of use.
2. How Connect Property Works
2.1 Connect Property is a free comparison and connection platform that links users with selected independent property professionals.
2.2 By submitting an enquiry through the Connect Property form, you outline your requirements so relevant professionals can review your request. You may receive offers or contact from up to four property professionals.
2.3 Shortly after submitting your enquiry, you will receive a confirmation email from Connect Property. This email includes the names of the professionals who may contact you. Unless otherwise agreed, contact may occur via telephone, email, or SMS. From that point onward, communication takes place directly between you and the professionals.
2.4 If you wish to have your enquiry removed or deleted from the platform, you may contact us at info@connectproperty.ie.
2.5 If it is not possible to obtain offers from four professionals, this will be clearly stated in your confirmation email. If only one professional is available based on your requirements, this will also be specified.
3. Use of Connect Property
3.1 You may not present yourself as being affiliated with Connect Property or its partners unless expressly authorised.
3.2 You may not attempt to gain access to non-public areas of the website or attempt to extract user data by unauthorised means.
3.3 You may not use the platform to distribute viruses, malicious software, or harmful code intended to access data or disrupt the service.
3.4 You may not interfere with or negatively impact other users’ ability to use Connect Property.
3.5 You may not impersonate another individual or falsely represent authority on behalf of another person or organisation.
3.6 If we identify misuse, misleading enquiries, or activity inconsistent with acceptable use, Connect Property reserves the right to restrict or block access to the service.
4. Responsibilities and Relationship With Property Professionals
4.1 Connect Property’s role is limited to facilitating introductions between users and independent property professionals. We do not participate in the preparation of offers or agreements.
4.2 All professionals operate independently from Connect Property, and we cannot guarantee that they will contact you or provide an offer.
4.3 Use of Connect Property is at your own risk. Any agreement entered into between you and a property professional is solely between those parties. Connect Property is not responsible for contract terms, service quality, legality, suitability, delivery timelines, or any losses arising from such agreements.
4.4 While we aim to work only with reliable and reputable professionals, we cannot guarantee that offers provided are the best or lowest-priced available in the market.
4.5 Connect Property is not liable for failure to fulfil obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Such events may include natural disasters, fire, flooding, vandalism, labour disputes, government restrictions, currency limitations, or widespread public health emergencies.
4.6 Connect Property is not responsible for any tax, VAT, or duty-related obligations arising between users and property professionals.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
5.1 All intellectual property associated with Connect Property, including the platform name, domain, trademarks, content, design, and materials, belongs to Connect Property or its licensors. Use of the platform does not grant any rights for commercial use of these materials.
5.2 Use of the website does not grant any license to use intellectual property belonging to third parties or participating professionals. Connect Property is not responsible for unauthorised use of such rights.
6. Communication
6.1 All communication with Connect Property takes place electronically.
6.2 Users are not subscribed to newsletters or marketing communications unless they explicitly choose to opt in.
6.3 If incorrect contact details are identified, Connect Property may update this information using publicly available records where permitted and where prior consent exists.
7. Privacy Policy and Personal Data
7.1 Use of Connect Property is subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation.
7.2 Information submitted through the enquiry form is used to forward requests to relevant property professionals. Data may also be securely processed for operational purposes including fraud prevention, analytics, service improvement, compliance obligations, and lawful marketing activities. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting privacy@connectproperty.ie.
8. Changes to the Terms
8.1 Connect Property reserves the right to amend these terms of use at any time without prior notice.
8.2 Continued use of the platform following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The latest update date is shown at the top of this page.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
9.1 These terms and your use of Connect Property are governed by Irish law.
9.2 Any disputes arising from use of the platform should first be resolved amicably. If this is not possible, disputes may be brought before the competent courts of Ireland.
